Our dive group size is 8 divers per guide - we pride ourselves that we haven’t canceled a single dive day in 25 years due to technical problems.
General Policies
Definition of a Hotel/Resort & Dive/Adventure Package
Any package includes accommodation plus a minimum of 2 dive days/activities per package.
What is included in the hotel/resort/dive package?
Breakfast at the chosen hotel/resort, Bento Lunch & Water on the boat on Dive Days, Air and/or EAN 32 for Nitrox certified divers, Weights, Weight Belt, Boat, Dive Guide, and Transfers from/to your Hotel/Resort. Transfer from/to Palau’s International Airport costs $25.00/person/way.
What is NOT included in your Package?
Rental Dive Gears, State Permits, Departure Tax (included in airfare), Government Fee/s. Koror State Rock Island Fee is US$ 50.00 plus a US$3.00 administration fee (non-commissionable). Koror State Jellyfish Lake & Rock Island Fee is US$ 100.00 plus a US$5.00 administration fee (non-commissionable). Please note if the customer chooses to buy a Rock Island Permit and decides later to upgrade to a Jellyfish Lake Permit additional costs are US$75.00.
Can I book Hotel & Resort ONLY?
The following hotel & resort prices are only applicable in combination with dive and/or adventures booked with Fish ’n fins in form of a Hotel/Resort Dive & Adventure Package.
Can I book ONLY diving & adventure packages?
Yes, you may just book diving and adventure tours with us.
Will you help me with other hotels/resort bookings in Palau?
Fish ‘n Fins is at your service as your local agent with hotels and local companies.
Payments
Payments must be made to:
Fish’n Fins Palau, PO Box 964, Koror Palau 96940. A 3% surcharge applies for payments with VISA and Master Card. A deposit of US$ 150.00 per booking is required upon booking to secure your reservation.
Payment in full is required 30 days prior to arrival; however, payment in full will be due at the time of booking confirmation if the booking is made less than 30 days prior to arrival.
For groups of 10 people or more, a US$150.00 deposit is required no later than 7 days after booking confirmation through Fish’n Fins Palau. However, if the booking is made less than 45 days prior to arrival then full payment will be due at the time of booking confirmation. Deposits for group booking are non-refundable.
Cancellation Policies
Hotel Bookings
Written cancellations received 31 days or more before arrival date no charge
30-22 days prior to arrival date 1-night charge per room
21-15 days prior to arrival date 2-night charge per room
14-0 days prior to arrival, 100% charge of the booked value - no refund
Dive & Adventure Activities ONLY (not booked within a package)
Written cancellations received 7 days or more prior to scheduled activity date - no fees
6-0 days prior to scheduled activity date, charge 100% of total activity billing value - no refund
Taxes and Service Charges
All rates include local taxes. Local taxes = 12% VAT and 5% Service Taxes. Taxes are generally not commissionable.
Diving Packages
Diving Packages are not transferrable or refundable. All dives include boat, 80 cuft/12 liter tank(s), boat operator, guide, weights, weight belt, water, lunch on the boat/beach depending on dive site choice, emergency kit, emergency oxygen, and life vest.

Adventure Packages
Adventure Packages are not transferrable or refundable.
The inclusions to our adventures like kayaking, Off-Road Jungle Tours, Skydiving Palau & Palau Helicopters are described in this document. Palau Helicopters & Skydiving Palau is not available until the end of 2019.
Room availability
If your chosen room is available online (on Fish ’n Fins Website) the booking is automatically confirmed. Fish ’n Fins has allotment agreements with all Premium Hotel/Resort partners. One night is defined as the time from check-in time of a calendar day to the check-out time the following calendar day. Check-in 3:00 PM, check-out 12:00 NOON.
Rates
All package rates, meal, dive, and activity rates are per person and night/activity/meal/day. All rooms ONLY Rates are per room and night. Rates are in US dollars.
Dive Days & Additional Dives
A Dive Day (DD) is defined as two consecutive dives from the boat – it includes two 12 liter/80 cubic feet scuba tanks filled with air or EAN 32 for all NITROX certified divers, guide, weights, weight belt, water, juice & lunch. Additional third tank dives, night dives, Mandarin Fish dives and special dives as Spawning dives are at an additional charge, non-commissionable and can only be booked locally with FNF personnel, front desk, or reservations.
Enriched Air Nitrox (EAN 32) is free of charge, an additional charge applies for other EANx/gas mixes. Technical diving and gases are available.
Transfers from/to chosen hotel/resort are included.
Wi-Fi Internet
WiFi is free of charge at Fish ’n Fins 5 Star IDC Dive & Adventure Center and Barracuda Restaurant. For WiFi availability please check the following accommodations separately.
